Our School Mission
The mission of the Pinter School, a leader in innovative teaching strategies for learners with developmental differences and emotional challenges, is to equip all learners with the skills, knowledge, attitudes and tools necessary to become productive and contributing members of our society. Our dynamic academic program with a strong vocational component is adjusted and tailored to the learner within the guidelines of the core curriculum content standards. Our low student to staff ratio is exemplary and the key to success for our learners. Graduates leave the Pinter School with confidence in life, social and work skills and the strategies necessary to meet the challenges that face them when they embrace adulthood.

- A comprehensive vocational assessment to assist in determining appropriate vocational goals.
- Assistance with individualized school-to-work transition planning.
- Opportunities to explore various vocational possibilities and to sample work situations in the community.
- Individualized job placement services.
These services can be provided on a part time, full time, short term or long term basis.
